after like, two years of unnecessary and unexplainable stalling (i have no excuse), i finally signed up for netflix!

in other news, this job has completely turned me into an old lady. it's only midnight, and i'm so ready to hit the sack already. dammit, first they take my option of sleeping late, now they've taken my ability to keep my eyes open past twelve am. :(

so it would appear that the new kitten was not properly weaned at all, which means he goes right for my face when we're cuddling and does his damndest to suckle.

i'm tired of waking up at five in the morning with a cat attached to my eyelid.

my dog died today. we knew he probably wasn't going to make it through this summer - he was nearly thirteen, old for a small dog, and he had cancer - and the weirdest thing about it was that in the shower this afternoon, i thought that the reason my mother had called me earlier might have been she wanted me to pick something up on my way home from work or... that Louie had died. go figure.

i just. i didn't get to say goodbye. my grandfather went alone to the vet this morning, when Lou took a turn for the worst, and i didn't get to be there for him at all. that dog was his best friend. hell, according to every report i ever wrote in elementary school, that dog was my best friend, too.

Out of the blue, I decided to watch The Legend again. I figured I spent a buttload of money on the DVDs, I might as well get more than one run out of them.

HOLY CRAP, I STILL LOVE THIS SERIES SO MUCH. ♥

Also, I have fallen hardcore for Jumuchi this time. He is a sexyfine mercenary man (and at the same time, such a huge lovable idiot!) I want to have his babies.

Why is it that every time I manage to get a job interview, it always ends up not being at all what was advertised, and is instead some sort of scam in which I get screwed out of money and have to sell shit like cutlery or toilet water to unsuspecting housewives?

So! I won't limit this to the first ten people, because I will never say no to writing a drabble. Give me something - series, pairing, character - and, oh, say a word or a phrase or something for me to go on when I sit down to write.
